General Manager (GM) — Elevation Pizza
Elevation Pizza is looking for a hands-on General Manager to run day-to-day operations, lead the team, and drive strong service and financial performance. This role owns execution: people, standards, cleanliness, and results.
What you’ll do
- Run daily operations across FOH and BOH to deliver fast, accurate service and consistent food quality
- Lead the floor during peak hours, solve problems in real time, and keep the team on pace
- Hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team (shift leads, kitchen, counter, etc.)
- Build schedules based on sales patterns and manage labor targets without sacrificing service
- Control food cost and waste through tight portioning, prep systems, inventory counts, and smart ordering
- Oversee inventory, vendor orders, delivery checks, FIFO rotation, and organization
- Maintain cash handling, deposits, void/refund controls, and end-of-day reconciliation
- Own store cleanliness and health/safety standards; keep the store inspection-ready every day
- Track weekly KPIs (sales, labor, COGS/prime cost, ticket times, guest feedback) and execute an action plan
- Handle guest issues professionally and protect the brand with strong recovery and follow-up
- Support local marketing execution (community partnerships, promos, events) as needed
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience (GM experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead both service and kitchen execution in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of scheduling, labor control, food cost, inventory, and basic P&L drivers
- Comfortable using POS systems (Toast a plus), checklists, and KPI tracking/reporting
- High standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, and guest experience
- Clear communicator who holds people accountable and builds a strong team culture
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Work environment / physical requirements
- Standing and moving for long periods; lifting up to ~50 lbs
- Working in a kitchen environment with heat, noise, and a fast pace
