Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment to new heights. Duties
- Lead the overall management of the restaurant, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Handle cash management duties such as cash handling, POS system operations (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes through regular inspections.
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff shifts and overseeing kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Implement customer service initiatives that enhance guest experiences and promote repeat business.
- Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in onboarding processes.
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and conflict resolution.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food production, catering, bar operations, and banquet services if applicable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interviewing, staff supervision, and customer interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and experience implementing health standards across restaurant operations.
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management is a plus but not required.
