General Manager- Wholesale Food Distributor

Butler Foods is adding a General Manager to its leadership team.

We are a family-owned, local, food distributor that has served customers in the panhandle of FL and south AL for more than 30 years. Our heritage is dairy but we operate today with a significantly expanded product portfolio. Any success our company has is the direct result of the care each employee gives to each customer.

We are seeking an individual to serve as General Manager to help us on our way to another 30 years. This position will oversee the sales, operations, and clerical functions of the location. It is probably best described as managing managers and will involve routine meetings, planning, and training.

Industry-specific experience would be beneficial. Leadership experience is required. Necessary skills to be successful: vision, communication, discipline, decision-making, problem-solving, mentoring, and computer/technology.

Position is located in Cantonment, FL. Salary + benefits.

Could be a good fit for someone fed up with the ways of big-business or an individual ready for increased responsibility in their career. Not recommended for those who merely want to take up space or pretend to lead.
