Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled General Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Conduct welding , hydraulic repairs, and use field service techniques to restore equipment functionality.
- Operate various tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and scissor lifts to facilitate maintenance tasks safely.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to identify faults accurately.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams and customer service to support installation projects or field service requests when needed.
Requirements
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and industrial electrician experience.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, schematics, and analysis skills.
- Ability to work with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters; experience with high voltage and low voltage systems is essential.
- Skilled in welding techniques including welding; experience in HVAC/R systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks using field service methods in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and the use of mechanical tools such as scissors lifts.

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
