Position Summary

The General Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of oral and dental conditions primarily through surgical interventions. The role requires attention to detail, excellent clinical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care within a private healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnostics to determine surgical needs
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for patients
• Perform various surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, and minor reconstructive surgeries
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, including postoperative follow-up
• Educate patients on oral health, surgical procedures, and postoperative care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Dentistry (DDS or DMD) with specialization or certification in Oral and Dental Surgery
• Valid dental license and board certification applicable to practice in the private healthcare sector
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oral and Dental Surgeon in a clinical or private healthcare setting
• Proficiency in a range of general oral and dental surgical procedures
• Strong communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to maintaining best practices and pursuing continuing education
