Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician to join our charitable hospital. The ideal candidate will manage OPD consultations, refer patients for admission when required, and conduct ward rounds to ensure continuity of care for admitted patients. Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately and those committed to community healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Outpatient (OPD) Services
- Conduct routine and follow-up OPD consultations.
- Assess patient symptoms, perform physical examinations, and diagnose common medical conditions.
- Provide preventive care advice on diet, hygiene, lifestyle, and general wellness.
- Request and interpret necessary investigations (lab tests, imaging, etc.).
- Prescribe appropriate medications with clear instructions.
Inpatient Referral & Coordination
- Identify patients who require admission based on clinical evaluations.
- Collaborate with the inpatient care team to coordinate admissions.
- Refer patients to specialists (e.g., Gynaecology, Cardiology, Orthopedics) when required.
- Ensure smooth handover of clinical details for admitted cases.
Ward Rounds
- Conduct daily ward rounds for admitted patients.
- Monitor progress, review treatment plans, and make necessary clinical decisions.
- Document patient conditions, progress notes, and treatment updates.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and allied health staff to ensure quality care.
General Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Build trust and rapport with patients, ensuring compassionate and ethical care.
- Stay updated with current medical guidelines and best practices.
- Participate in hospital initiatives, medical camps, and community health activities.
Requirements
- MBBS or MD, DNB (General Medicine) with valid medical license.
- 15–20 years of clinical experience (experience in OPD or hospital settings preferred).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume OPD in a charitable setting.
- Good communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work in a team with nurses and support staff.
- Responsible, ethical, and committed to serving underprivileged communities.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
