General Practitioner (GP) - ER Night Shift

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced General Practitioner (GP) for our night shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients during the night hours, offering a wide range of primary healthcare services, and managing emergency cases as required. The role is critical in ensuring that patients receive high-quality medical attention at all hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:

Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses in patients of all ages during the night shift.

• Emergency Response:

Provide immediate and effective care for emergency situations, including stabilizing patients and initiating appropriate medical interventions.

• Clinical Consultations:

Conduct in-person or telemedicine consultations, providing diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.

• Medical Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with Night Shift Team:

Work alongside nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and proper patient handover between shifts.

• Patient Education:

Offer health advice and educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and managing chronic conditions.

• Prescription Management:

Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring proper monitoring of patient response to medications.

Adherence to Safety Protocols:
Ensure adherence to all medical safety Ensure adherence to all medical safety protocols, including infection control, confidentiality, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

• Male Candidates are preferred due to the scheduling requirement (night shift)
• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
• Valid DHA License as General Practitioner
• Experience:

At least 05 years of experience as a GP. Prior experience in emergency or night shift care is preferred.

• Specialization:

A general practice background, with the ability to manage a wide range of patient conditions. Additional certifications in emergency medicine, family medicine, or related fields are a plus.

• Strong Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Work Schedule:

Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per the clinic/hospital's scheduling needs.

• Physical Stamina:

Must be able to handle the physical demands of working through the night shift, including prolonged periods of standing or sitting and managing stressful situations.
