Reports to: Production Manager
Job Description
Assemble and produce products to prepare for shipment. Production prepares, operates, and monitors machines/equipment while maintaining production standards and adhering to operational and safety protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain machines/equipment according to instructions

Create and assemble parts and products for various industries
-
Monitor product and assembly (machines/equipment operating smoothly) and report any inconsistencies

Store/maintain/load goods and raw materials properly
-
Cut/sort/coat/compact various materials
-
Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in production work area

Ensure production standards are met

Finalize product and assist in product packaging and shipping

Ensure finished products meet specifications and quality to NCCM standards

Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment while operating machines or handling materials/chemicals as required

Attend or watch training sessions and continuously improve skills to increase job performance and efficiency

Align with NCCM mission and culture
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, listen, and lift ≤50lbs frequently. The employee must be able to use manufacturing equipment daily.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience as a production worker in a factory setting (Required)

Understand basic knowledge of operating machines/equipment (Required)

Ability to use job tools including pneumatic tools, a tape measure, caliper, micrometer, or others as needed (Required)

Ability to cross train in other areas or departments within production as needed (Required)

Ability to drive and operate a fork truck safely (Preferred)

Ability to read prints/drawings in metric/imperial (Preferred)

Ability to follow written and oral work instructions

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently

Report any/all safety related challenges to the Production Supervisor or another member of Management

Open and receptive to constructive feedback

Approachability and maintaining a positive attitude
