General Sales Manager

Safford Volkswagen of Fredericksburg is looking for a high-energy, forward-thinking General Sales Manager to lead our sales operation. What You'll Do

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Managers
  • Create a culture of accountability, energy, and continuous improvement
  • Drive showroom, internet, phone, and digital sales performance
  • Work deals and assist in closing transactions
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase volume and profitability
  • Monitor key performance metrics and coach the team to success
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top sales talent
  • Partner with Finance and Fixed Operations to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
  • Ensure a world-class customer experience throughout the sales process

What We're Looking For

  • Automotive sales management experience required
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Proven ability to train, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong desk management and deal-closing experience
  • Digital retailing and CRM experience preferred
  • Driven, energetic, and positive attitude
  • Growth mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo

Compensation

$150,000 - $250,000+ annually

Base salary plus performance-based bonuses and incentives.
