General Service Technician/ Welder Fabricator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring trailers are operating efficiently and safely, while also providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Perform routine trailer maintenance tasks, tire services, brakes, bearings, light repair and general inspections.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers.
• Assist in sales by recommending additional services or repairs based on trailer condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
• Welding Skills would be a plus if possible with fabricating abilities to work autonomously on projects.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform tire services and other essential vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• A valid driver's license is required.
