Leadership Responsibilities

  • Set departmental goals, initiatives, operational plans, and KPIs; ensure continuous monitoring and performance measurement.
  • Lead the team to achieve departmental objectives and enhance service quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and improve departmental processes; ensure full documentation and compliance with policies, procedures, and work systems.
  • Monitor departmental performance against targets and implement corrective and preventive actions when required.
  • Participate in planning and monitoring the annual budget, ensuring full adherence to financial allocations.
  • Identify talent needs and recommend HR actions, including hiring, promotions, rewards, and transfers.
  • Evaluate employee performance, identify training needs, recommend programs, and assess their effectiveness.
  • Hold regular team meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver periodic reports on departmental activities and achievements.
  • Approve employee requests (leave, permissions) and assign a deputy when necessary.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Oversee development and alignment of policies, procedures, and standards with regulations and best practices; ensure full organizational compliance.
  • Provide advisory support to all organizational sectors, managers, and employees on facilities and public services matters.
  • Supervise facilities, public services, and health & safety projects to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals.
  • Manage the development and application of vendor evaluation standards and selection methodologies.
  • Monitor contracts and agreements with government entities, external vendors, and internal units to ensure full execution of obligations.
  • Ensure delivery of facilities management, administrative services, maintenance, cleaning, hospitality, and security according to approved procedures.
  • Oversee the provision of required supplies and operational support services across all organizational facilities.
  • Manage security, protection services, mail flow, and coordination of employee residence permits and work visas.
  • Ensure implementation of organizational health & safety standards and follow up on periodic assessments.
  • Support negotiations for favorable service rates, oversee maintenance providers, implement business continuity plans, and perform additional assigned duties.
