General Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPITION

Overview

Responsible for supervising all interior fit‑out and craftsmanship activities on site, ensuring high‑quality execution, timely delivery, and full compliance with safety and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for carpentry, joinery, gypsum, painting, flooring, metal works, and other interior trades.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and craftsmen to maintain smooth workflow.

• Review drawings, materials, and method statements before execution.

• Monitor progress, inspect workmanship, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Identify defects and ensure timely corrective actions.

• Manage and guide craftsmen and subcontractors; conduct daily briefings.

• Enforce safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.

• Monitor material usage, prevent wastage, and coordinate timely deliveries.

• Prepare daily reports, manpower logs, and assist with snag list closure.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of interior fit‑out and craftsmanship trades.

• Ability to read technical drawings.

• Leadership, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

• High attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of interior fit‑out/craftsmanship supervision experience.

• Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail projects is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of safety and site management practices.

• UAE experience required.

• Salary: 4000–6000 AED.
