General Surgeon

Job Summary:

The General Surgeon will be responsible for performing surgical procedures to treat various diseases, injuries, and deformities. The role involves patient evaluation, diagnosis, surgical planning, and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of safety and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and diagnose surgical conditions.
• Plan and perform both elective and emergency surgeries (appendectomy, hernia, gallbladder, piles, etc.).
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with anesthetists, nurses, and other specialists for comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation.
• Attend to trauma and emergency surgery cases.
• Provide follow-up consultations and post-discharge care advice.
• Ensure infection control and OT protocol compliance.
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous medical education sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS with MS (General Surgery) or DNB (General Surgery).
• Valid registration with the Medical Council.
• Minimum 2–5 years of post-PG surgical experience preferred.
• Proficiency in both open and laparoscopic surgeries will be an advantage.

Employment Type: Partneership/ Sharing Basis

Work Schedule: As per hospital duty roster (includes emergency on-call duty).
Salary: Negotiable / As per experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,154.85 per month

Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
