General Surgeon

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Surgeon to join our medical team. The candidate should be well-versed in handling a wide range of surgical procedures and able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general surgeries including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue surgeries.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
• Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency surgeries.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical notes.
• Follow NABH and hospital protocols related to surgical safety and infection control.
• Guide and train junior doctors or surgical assistants when required.
• Attend clinical meetings and contribute to case discussions.

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with Tamil Nadu Medical Council (TMC).
• 5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital setup.
• Experience in handling laparoscopic surgeries will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work under pressure and during emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
