General Technician with Tiling Expertise

We are hiring a General Maintenance Technician with strong tiling skills to support the upkeep and repair needs of our holiday homes and short-term rental properties. This role is perfect for a hands-on technician who can confidently install and repair tiles, while also handling general maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Tiling Work:

• Install floor and wall tiles (ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, etc.)
• Perform tile repairs, grouting, sealing, and surface prep
• Ensure clean and accurate cuts and alignment

General Maintenance:

• Troubleshoot and fix appliances (AC units, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, etc.)
• Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, clogged drains, faucets, toilets, etc.)
• Electrical checks and minor repairs (light fixtures, switches, sockets)
• Repair and maintain doors, windows, and general fixtures
• Inspect and maintain AC filters and systems
• Paint touch-ups and basic patchwork
• Assist with moving or setting up furniture and equipment
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests

Requirements:

• Proven experience in tile installation (residential or commercial)
• Hands-on knowledge of general maintenance, including electrical and plumbing basics
• Ability to troubleshoot appliances and perform safety checks
• Good understanding of property maintenance standards
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Valid Dubai driver’s license
• Flexible availability, including weekends or emergency call-outs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade certifications in tiling, HVAC, or electrical work (a plus)
• Experience working with holiday homes, hotels, or Airbnb properties
• Familiarity with maintenance reporting and mobile work apps
