We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes from dining areas when necessary.
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
• Participate in regular cleaning schedules to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.

Skills

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation standards is beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to assist with various tasks including banquet setups and general kitchen duties as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
