Generative AI & NLP Engineer – POS Intelligence & Personalization

About Us

We are building a next-generation restaurant POS system that doesn’t just manage orders, it analyses consumer behavior, identifies trends, and generates actionable insights. With data flowing in daily from thousands of transactions, we want to harness the power of Generative AI to create personalized reports and tools that help restaurant owners grow smarter and faster.

We’re looking for a Generative AI & NLP Engineer with a strong foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing to help us fine-tune large language models and embed AI-driven personalization directly into our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune and customize LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, GPT-4o, Gemini, Claude) for domain-specific outputs using structured and unstructured POS data.
• Apply techniques like LoRA, QLoRA, instruction tuning, or adapter layers for efficient training.
• Build and manage pipelines for data cleaning, preparation, tokenization, and evaluation of large datasets (e.g., receipts, customer feedback, usage logs).
• Use prompt engineering and embedding techniques to create high-quality, contextual outputs.
• Integrate and manage APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, HuggingFace, or others to support in-product personalization.
• Collaborate with our data, engineering, and product teams to deliver AI-powered reports and features to end users.
• Stay updated with the latest in transformers, RAG, vector databases, and fine-tuning strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of:
• Machine Learning
• Deep Learning (RNNs, Transformers)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in libraries like Transformers, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning or customizing LLMs using real-world datasets.
• Experience working with structured data (CSV, SQL) and text data simultaneously.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLMOps, model versioning, or deployment pipelines.
• Previous work with restaurant tech, retail, or POS systems.
• Familiarity with visualization tools for auto-generating AI reports.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
