We are seeking a Generative Content Developer. In this role, you will drive Cascade Energy's strategic marketing initiatives through data-driven, AI-enhanced copywriting that transforms complex technical concepts, market research, customer personas, and pain points into compelling, conversion-focused marketing materials. This strategic role requires a seasoned marketing professional who can leverage AI-powered platforms to scale content production while maintaining brand voice consistency and strategic messaging alignment across all channels.

This is a full-time, exempt position located in Portland Oregon, Chicago, or San Diego. We are also open to non-Portland candidates located near another Cascade Energy office. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role are required to have:- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in B2B copywriting, advertising copywriting, or content marketing roles, preferably including:
- At least 3 years in technically complex industries (energy, engineering, technology, SaaS, sustainability, or similar)
- Experience working in-house at B2B companies and/or at advertising/marketing agencies
- Proven track record developing successful advertising campaigns with measurable results
A portfolio or examples of work will be required as part of this hiring process.
If advanced to the interview stage, you will be asked to complete an assignment.
Compensation & Benefits
The full salary range for this full-time, exempt in Portland or Chicago is $73,920 – $92,400 – $110,880*. In San Diego the range is $77,400 – $96,800 –$ 116,160.
