Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Sales Specialist

We are seeking a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Sales Specialist to help drive revenue and capitalize on the explosive growth of AI-powered search. This role will focus on managing and converting a highly active and rapidly expanding sales pipeline while introducing brands and agencies to the next generation of search visibility solutions.

As AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity AI reshape how consumers discover businesses, organizations are urgently looking for strategies that ensure their brand appears in AI-generated answers. Our GEO solutions are at the forefront of this shift, and demand is accelerating quickly.

The ideal candidate combines consultative sales expertise, strong pipeline management skills, and knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and AI-driven search ecosystems, with the ability to translate complex AI trends into clear business value for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert a rapidly growing inbound and partner-driven sales pipeline for GEO solutions.
  • Educate brands, agencies, and marketing leaders on how AI-powered search platforms are changing discovery and customer acquisition.
  • Position Generative Engine Optimization strategies as a critical next evolution beyond traditional SEO.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client goals, challenges, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demos that clearly communicate how GEO drives visibility in AI-generated answers and recommendations.
  • Work closely with internal strategy and delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and long-term client success.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and activity tracking within CRM systems.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Stay current on developments in AI search, generative AI platforms, and digital marketing trends.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in digital marketing sales, SaaS sales, or media/agency sales.
  • Strong familiarity with SEO, content marketing, or performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and close deals in a consultative sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Comfortable discussing emerging technologies including AI search, generative AI, and conversational discovery platforms.
  • Experience selling to marketing leaders, CMOs, or agency decision-makers.
  • Highly organized with strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling SEO, content marketing, or digital media solutions.
  • Background working with marketing agencies, media companies, or digital publishers.
  • Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or Perplexity AI.
  • Experience in MarTech, AdTech, or AI-driven marketing platforms.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
