Generator Mechanical Technician

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing regular preventive and corrective maintenance on power generators to ensure optimal performance and continuous operation without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of generators as per the maintenance schedule.
• Inspect mechanical components, diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace oils, filters, and clean mechanical parts.
• Ensure generators are always in proper working condition.
• Coordinate with electrical and other technical teams to ensure complete maintenance coverage.
• Prepare regular technical reports on generator condition and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations during maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in generator maintenance or heavy mechanical equipment.
• Good knowledge of fuel, cooling, and lubrication systems for generators.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
