Generator Technician

Position: Generator Technician

Location: Qatar
Salary: QAR 2,500 – 2,700

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair diesel and petrol generators.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of generators.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Replace worn-out parts and components as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist in emergency breakdown situations to restore power quickly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Generator Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel/petrol generators, engines, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for electrical equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of handling equipment.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
