Generator Technician / Electrician

This a position to run the generator installations and service within our organization. This position requires an energetic, positive thinker, with great electrical and mechanical skills and who likes to be a team leader as well as a good team member.

You will be responsible for running jobs, mostly related to electrical installation, generator installation, generator service, and other minor service jobs.

In the course of performing these generator installation jobs, you will be required to install transfer switches, which usually alter the main electrical service, and causes it to be updated to meet current electrical code.

Knowledge of gaseous fuels such as natural gas and propane, as well as knowledge of fuel line installation, leak testing, and pressure testing is a plus.

Good interpersonal skills are necessary, as there will be constant interactions with inspectors, and customers.
