Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations, sampling, and logging.
- Assist more senior geologist/s in planning geological fieldwork.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret of geological and geotechnical data.
- Prepare of borehole logs, geological maps, and cross-sections.
- Support laboratory testing coordination and data interpretation.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, engineers, technicians, operations and project management team within Fugro and with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Participate in training and development programs to build technical competencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Geology, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
A Great Plus If You Meet the Following:
- Internship or fieldwork experience in a geotechnical or geological setting.
- Awareness of industry standards and best practices (e.g., BS, ASTM, ISO).
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
- Willingness to travel and work in field environments.
- Knowledge of geological mapping, soil and rock classification, and field logging techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., GIS, gINT, or similar).
- Interest or experience in digitization.
