Geometry tutor

JumpStart is expanding our after-school tutoring team in Miami (33169), and we’re looking for a reliable, student-centered Geometry Tutor to support middle and high school learners.

Location: Miami, FL 33169 (in-person)
Schedule: After school (weekday afternoons; exact days/hours based on availability)
Pay: $25/hour
Start: ASAP / rolling

What you’ll do

• Tutor students in Geometry (core concepts + problem-solving strategies)
• Help students build confidence, accuracy, and test readiness
• Track progress and provide quick feedback to parents/program leads
• Create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment

Requirements (must have)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior teaching/tutoring experience (classroom or 1:1)
• Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in 33169,

Nice to have

• Experience with small groups
• Familiarity with standardized test prep (helpful but not required)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
