Geotechnical Engineer

Overview

Job Details:

Perform geotechnical design work for foundations across different types of structures.

Develop solutions for landslides and ground stability, including retaining walls, embankments, and support systems.

Carry out stability analysis by considering soil conditions, groundwater levels, loads, and seismic factors.

Analyze geotechnical investigation data and prepare detailed technical reports.

Prepare technical specifications and documentation for earthworks and tender processes.

Work closely with internal designers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper project coordination.

Conduct site visits and provide support during geotechnical construction activities.

Assist in data analysis and contribute to engineering decisions and project improvements.

Ensure designs meet safety standards and project requirements.

Job Experience Requirements

Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role will be preferred.

Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with GeoSuite will be an advantage.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive approach.

Attention to detail and ability to handle technical data accurately.
