Position Overview
This is not your typical HVAC service job. You will work with a select group of only high-end residential clients, each living in architecturally significant, luxury homes. Our clients expect white-glove service and proactive problem-solving. You will have the autonomy to help shape your schedule and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients who value trust, expertise, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform service, diagnostics, and repairs on all major residential HVAC systems, including forced air, geothermal, boilers, radiant systems, and mini-splits.
· Replace equipment at end-of-life with high attention to quality and long-term performance.
· Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot geothermal systems (mandatory).
· Service a variety of residential equipment brands (Carrier, Lennox, Mitsubishi, Trane, Bosch, etc.).
· Respond to service requests and proactively identify potential issues before they become problems.
· Provide detailed documentation of service visits and equipment condition using BuilderTrend software.
· Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies (limited volume due to focused client list).
· Collaborate with Spire Builders’ leadership and field staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
· If interested, grow into a leadership position overseeing a team of HVAC technicians.
Qualifications
· 10 years of hands-on residential HVAC experience is recommended
· Proficiency with geothermal systems required (over 50% of our homes).
· Strong working knowledge of boilers and radiant heating systems is highly valued.
· EPA 608 Certification (required).
· Clean driving record and valid PA driver’s license.
· High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
· Comfort working in some of the most beautiful and complex homes in the region.
· Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly.
