This position offers professional autonomy, meaningful patient interaction, and the opportunity

to practice outside traditional office-based constraints.

Position Summary

HouseCall MD Physicians deliver high-quality medical care to adult and geriatric patients in

their homes. Clinicians in this role must possess strong clinical acumen, sound judgment, and a

commitment to improving health outcomes through continuity of care, proactive management,

and patient education.

This role is structured for physicians who value flexibility, work–life balance, and a practice

model designed to minimize administrative burden while maximizing time spent with patients.

No responsibilities involve soliciting, influencing, or generating referrals. All activities must

comply with the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and the Stark Law.

Primary Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • All duties must be performed solely for medically appropriate care and without regard

to the potential volume or value of referrals.

  • Conduct comprehensive home-based medical evaluations, including preventive, routine,

and urgent care assessments.

  • Manage chronic and complex medical conditions while supporting safety, comfort, and

continuity of care.

  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on disease processes, medication management,

and preventive strategies.

  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers—including physicians, nurses,

therapists, and specialists—to reduce avoidable hospitalizations and improve care

transitions.

  • Document all clinical encounters accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner in the

Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

  • Uphold organizational, ethical, and legal standards, including compliance with AKS,

Stark Law, HIPAA, and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited

institution.

  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency

Medicine preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of post-residency clinical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in geriatric and home-based medicine.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professional integrity.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is set in advance, is consistent with fair market value (FMV), and is not

tied—directly or indirectly—to the volume or value of referrals or federally reimbursable

services.

  • Annual Compensation: $250,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience and

schedule)

  • Employment Type: Part-time, Contract, or Temporary
