Our students in the English program enter with diverse starting points in German. We are seeking a dedicated professional to guide them from their first steps through to confident, independent fluency.

The Role

As our DaF/DaZ specialist, you will work across both Primary and Middle School, ensuring a seamless and structured progression for every learner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment: Evaluate individual language levels and identify specific growth areas.
• Pathfinding: Map out learning journeys following the CEFR progression (A1–C2), creating a clear pathway toward qualifications such as the Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD).
• Development: Support the holistic growth of both spoken and written language.
• Continuity: Ensure a consistent pedagogical approach as students transition through age groups.

• Expertise: Extensive experience specifically in German as a Second/Foreign Language (DaF/DaZ).
• Academic Depth: A profound understanding of CEFR levels and progression milestones.
• Versatility: Proven ability to engage and inspire both Primary and Middle School learners.
• Fluency: Native-level proficiency in German (C2).
• Methodology: A structured, thoughtful, and patient approach to teaching.
