German Teacher (TELC)

Role Overview
The TELC German Trainer is responsible for delivering high quality German language training focused on TELC exam preparation. The role requires strong subject knowledge, structured teaching skills, and the ability to guide learners toward successful exam outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach German language classes for levels A1 to B2 with a primary focus on TELC exam preparation.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice materials, mock exams, and assessments aligned with TELC guidelines.
• Track student progress, identify gaps, and provide individual support to help learners meet exam standards.
• Conduct regular grammar practice, speaking drills, writing tasks, and listening sessions suited for TELC exam formats.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and feedback.
• Guide students through exam registration procedures and address exam related queries.
• Collaborate with the German coordinator to plan timetables, classroom activities, and resource requirements.
• Provide timely updates to the branch regarding student progress, readiness for exams, and classroom needs.
• Ensure discipline, punctuality, and active learning within the classroom.
• Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and curriculum improvement discussions.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong command of the German language with TELC oriented teaching experience.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver clear explanations.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with TELC exam patterns, scoring criteria, and preparation strategies.
• Patience, professionalism, and student focused teaching.

Qualifications

• German language certification, preferably at B2 or C1 level.
• Prior experience training students for TELC exams is preferred.
• Teaching experience at a language institute or similar setting will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
