Roles & Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime of GIS infrastructure.
- Manage GIS users, roles, permissions, and licensing within enterprise environments.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and security hardening following best practices.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Maintain and optimize enterprise geodatabases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Automate GIS workflows and administrative tasks using scripting tools (Python, PowerShell).
- Support GIS application deployment, integration, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with GIS analysts, developers, and IT teams to deliver enterprise GIS solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation for system architecture, configurations, and processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Enterprise GIS administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
o ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, ArcGIS Online)
o Enterprise Geodatabases
o GIS Web Services & Applications
- Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) is an advantage.
- Experience in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with GIS security, access control, and system monitoring.
- Understanding of GIS architecture, spatial data modeling, and ETL processes.
- ESRI certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Professional).
