Sr. GIS Engineer / GIS Engineer – 2D Mapping, QC & QA

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate GIS Engineer with 1–5 years of experience in 2D mapping, digitization, and quality checks. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in utility mapping, cadastral mapping, land records, and drone & satellite data digitization.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D GIS production tasks: digitization, mapping, editing, and topology checks.
• Support QC/QA processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with team leads and project managers for smooth delivery.
• Maintain data accuracy, prepare reports, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, Remote Sensing, Civil/Geo Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in GIS (2D mapping, QC/QA).
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD Map, Global Mapper, and Google Earth.
• Good understanding of cartography, topology rules, and spatial accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and effective communication skills.
