What You’ll Do

• Locate and uncover meter boxes and utility assets in the field
• Expose meters safely using hand tools and approved excavation practices
• Capture GPS coordinates, photos, and meter information using field tablets or GPS equipment
• Record condition notes and verify meter identification
• Backfill and restore sites after data collection
• Report discrepancies such as missing, damaged, or buried meters
• Work outdoors daily in varying conditions

What We’re Looking For

• A valid driver’s license (required)
• No experience required — experience in GIS, construction, locating, or field work is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors, walking, kneeling, digging
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to use tablets, GPS units, and basic apps
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well in a team

Location: Field-based, Travel is sometimes required.
