GIS Solution Specialist (Saudi National)

We are looking for a dynamic GIS Specialist to join our team in a hybrid capacity, specifically targeting talent based in the Dammam or Jubail and Riyadh areas.

Unlike a traditional back-office data role, this position is client-facing and strategic. You will act as the technical bridge between our advanced GIS capabilities and our clients' business needs. Your primary objective is to demonstrate the power of spatial data, consult with stakeholders to understand their challenges, and design bespoke GIS solutions that drive value.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Demonstrations: Conduct high-impact technical presentations and "live" demos of GIS platforms and software to prospective and existing clients.
• Client Engagement: Lead technical discovery meetings to identify client pain points and spatial data requirements.
• Custom Proposal Development: Design and propose tailored GIS workflows, architectures, and solution maps that address specific industry needs (e.g., urban planning, logistics, or industrial asset management).
• Technical Consultation: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the pre-sales and project initiation phases to ensure technical feasibility.
• Requirement Translation: Convert complex client business needs into clear technical specifications for the development or implementation teams.
• Travel: Candidate will get opportunities to travel across the Kingdome, meeting personalities and decision makers in Govt and corporate organizations.

Skills

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in GIS analysis, implementation, Solution Design, or technical consultancy

Location: Currently residing in or willing to commute easily within the Dammam/Jubail region (Hybrid schedule).

Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro/Online, QGIS, and spatial database management. Familiarity with Python for automation or SQL is a significant plus.

Solution Design: Proven ability to architect custom GIS solution for clients' needs and innovating thinking is must.

Communication: Exceptional "soft skills" with the ability to explain complex spatial concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, persuasive manner (art of persuasive communication)

Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze a client’s existing workflow and identify where spatial intelligence can improve efficiency or ROI.

Language: Fluency in Arabic & English is required including formal communications; bilingual proficiency in is highly preferred given the local client base.
