Contract: 4 months (Full-time, On-site)

Rate: $400 USD per day

About the Role

We are working with one of the largest GitLab Select Partners , delivering a wide range of GitLab Professional Services. We are seeking an experienced GitLab Implementation Consultant to join a financial organisation in Riyadh.

This is a hands-on role requiring deep implementation expertise and the ability to guide the client through best practice adoption. The successful candidate must already have the right to work in Saudi Arabia (full VISA) and be available immediately or already based in the Kingdom.

Scope of Work

• Full-time role for approximately 4 months
• 40 hours per week , 8 hours per day
• On-site presence required at the customer’s offices in Riyadh
• Lead implementer for migration and deployment projects
• Work closely with a GitLab Technical Architect and Project Manager who will provide advisory and governance support

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on GitLab implementations and migrations, acting as the primary implementer of solutions
• Advise customers on GitLab best practices and support their journey towards modernised CI/CD pipelines
• Migrate CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins/ArgoCD to GitLab CI/CD
• Perform congregate migration activities and Geo setup
• Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Git
• Collaborate with the GitLab Technical Architect to ensure alignment with reference architectures and defined deliverables
• Provide best practice recommendations to optimise customer adoption
• Operate with autonomy, reliability, and a self-starter mindset throughout the engagement

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in GitLab reference architecture design and implementation
• Strong background in deployment and migration methods
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, Git
• Experience with Geo setup and congregate migrations
• Successful track record of migrating from Jenkins/ArgoCD to GitLab CI/CD
• Excellent advisory and communication skills with the ability to influence and guide clients
• Personable, inquisitive, and able to build trust quickly with client teams
• Self-sufficient, reliable, and driven to deliver in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

Support Provided

• Engagement supported by a GitLab Technical Architect (advisory capacity)
• Oversight from a GitLab Project Manager
• Initial project direction and deliverables set by the GitLab team

Ideal Candidate

• Has demonstrable end-to-end GitLab migration experience
• Is motivated, hands-on, and able to deliver independently
• Can start immediately and commit to the full duration of the project
• Brings both technical implementation expertise and the ability to advise on best practices
