Job description:

The Glass Handler is responsible for safely handling, transporting, and organizing glass products in the warehouse and production areas while maintaining high safety standards and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely handle and transport glass sheets, panels, and products in compliance with company safety procedures.
• Load and unload glass from delivery trucks and storage racks.
• Inspect glass for quality, defects, and proper labeling before processing or shipment.
• Assist production and shipping teams as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (dollies, carts ) as required.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in handling glass or similar fragile materials is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to50 lbs) safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts if needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour

• Manufacturing facility: 1 year (Required)
• Unloading: 1 year (Required)
• Glass Handling: 1 year (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Required)
• Overnight Shift (Required)
