Position: Glass Technician

Job Summary
The Glass Technician is responsible for cutting, installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of glass used in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role requires strong technical skills, precision, and knowledge of UAE safety standards and installation practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and install glass for windows, doors, partitions, facades, shower enclosures, mirrors, and other structures.
- Install aluminum frames, glass panels, double-glazed units (DGU), tempered and laminated glass.
- Perform glass repairs, replacements, and sealing work.
- Handle silicone application, edge polishing, and glass fitting.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
- Operate glass-cutting tools, grinders, drills, and lifting equipment safely.
- Ensure all installations meet UAE safety and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare material requirements.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to complete tasks on time.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Glass Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of glass types: tempered, laminated, DGU, mirror, and architectural glass.
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Skilled in silicone work, glass cutting, and installation.
- Familiarity with aluminum and glass systems used in UAE construction.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
- 2–5 years of experience in aluminium fabrication and installation (UAE experience preferred).
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
