Glass Worker/Stone Lapidary work

Glass/Stone worker needed in a jewelry manufacturing studio. This is a part-time position working 1 to 2 days per week in downtown Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare raw materials, including cleaning and processing glass and glass bottles
- Craft high-quality glass and stone pieces for jewelry production, focusing on precision in shaping, polishing, and finishing
- Operate waterjet machines and use Adobe Illustrator for design preparation
- Assist with lampworking preparations to support production needs
- Manage material inventory, ensuring adequate supplies of glass and stones for production
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment essential for glass and stone fabrication
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols

Ideal Candidate:

-Passionate about making and crafting by hand
-Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
-Open to learning; we provide training for crafting stones and material preparation

* Prior experience in glass making or stone lapidary is a plus
