/ The Role
Gama Aviation in the Middle East is actively seeking a talented Global 7500 B1 and/or B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our innovative and forward-thinking Engineering Team at our new BAC facility in Sharjah. This opportunity allows you to support our high-profile private clients and fleet operated aircraft through a dedicated workforce that understands the necessity of delivering exceptional service in an evolving business jet landscape.
As part of this role, you must be flexible, work as part of a team, and as an essential part of the Gama Aviation Engineering Group, possessing strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
To be considered for this position you will hold an EASA or UK CAA or GCAA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 License, already holding Global 7500 and preferably with one or more of the following OEM type ratings:
- Bombardier
- Gulfstream

/ Responsibilities- Responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks

Ensure the safe and compliant completion of customer work order requirements.

Responsible for the management of and performance/quality of performed works in compliance with applicable company process and procedures

Ensure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

Maintain the required engineering licence and applicable type rating as required to perform duties and be responsible for ensuring licences and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date

Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required

Individual responsibility for booking accurate, and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system

Ensuring all actions contained within work orders have been accomplished using approved maintenance data.
/ Skills, Qualifications and Experience required
Essential
- An EASA or UKCAA or GCAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 and/or B2

Previous aircraft line and AOG maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in troubleshooting, inspection, servicing, repair and modifications

Satisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approval

Full National Driving licence
