Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Amazon Marketplace Sales Manager to drive results/sales performance across all Amazon platforms (Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon EU, etc.). This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing day-to-day marketplace operations, optimizing product listings, and driving revenue growth while ensuring compliance with Amazon policies and brand integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across all Amazon marketplaces.
- Own the Amazon P&L, including forecasting, budget planning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee daily operations including listing optimization, advertising (PPC), inventory planning, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, product development, and customer service to ensure smooth execution and brand alignment.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and Amazon algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead a team of Amazon account managers or external agency partners, providing strategic direction and performance oversight.
- Manage relationships with Amazon vendor or seller account managers to negotiate terms, resolve operational issues, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure all marketplace activities adhere to brand standards, Amazon’s terms of service, and internal compliance policies.
- Analyze key performance data and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a minimum of 3 years leading sales on Amazon (Seller Central and/or Vendor Central).
- Deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem: A+ content, SEO, FBA, Buy Box, Brand Registry, and advertising tools.
- Proven track record of growing sales and improving operational efficiency on Amazon.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Amazon reporting tools, and third-party analytics platforms (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing international Amazon marketplaces (UK, EU, UAE, etc.).
- Familiarity with Amazon DSP or off-platform ad strategy.
- Background in consumer goods or branded products is highly preferred

Pay: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
