We are seeking an energetic and strategic leader to serve as the Global Director of People, responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive human resources strategies across our organization. This pivotal role drives talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and HR operations to foster a high-performance culture. Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of national HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives, emphasizing HR compliance, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Oversee talent sourcing initiatives utilizing HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or equivalent platforms to attract top talent across diverse markets.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes to maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, OSHA standards, Workers' Compensation policies, and other legal requirements in all operational regions.
- Drive organizational design efforts including succession planning, process improvement, and change management initiatives to optimize workforce effectiveness.
- Supervise HR teams responsible for employee orientation, benefits administration (including FMLA and benefits programs), payroll processing (Paychex, ADP, Paylocity), and HR data analysis.
- Develop training & development programs to enhance leadership capabilities and support ongoing employee growth.
- Oversee program management related to employee evaluation systems, HR sourcing strategies, and HRIS data collection for strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to craft communication strategies that promote transparency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management at a senior leadership level within a global organization.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, Workers’ Compensation policies, and compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition techniques, including ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as Taleo or Lever; proficiency with HRIS platforms like Workday or Oracle HCM is essential.
- Strong background in organization design, succession planning, performance management systems, and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with the ability to manage complex contracts and vendor relationships such as ADP, UKG, Kronos or UltiPro solutions.
- Skilled in training & development program creation, employee relations management, conflict resolution, and change management strategies.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences including senior executives.
- Experience supervising HR teams responsible for benefits administration (including FMLA), payroll (Paychex or ADP), HR sourcing initiatives, and data analysis tasks.
- Familiarity with global HR technology platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $125,075.70 - $151,833.09 per year
