Job Description – Talent Sourcer

To strengthen our hiring process, we are seeking a proactive Talent Sourcer who will work

closely with recruiters to identify, attract, and engage potential candidates across various

industries.

Role Overview

The Talent Sourcer will be responsible for headhunting, market mapping, and building a

pipeline of qualified candidates using multiple sourcing strategies. This role requires excellent

research skills, strong networking ability, and proficiency with online recruiting tools and social

media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with recruiters to understand specific job requirements and define candidate

profiles.

• Source and identify potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed,

social media, job boards, and other online communities.

• Apply headhunting techniques to approach passive candidates.

• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future job openings.

• Conduct initial candidate engagement to assess interest and availability.

• Keep candidate database and records updated in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

• Provide market insights, talent mapping, and competitor analysis when needed.

• Collaborate with recruiters to ensure a smooth handover of qualified candidates for

further evaluation and interviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sourcer, Talent Researcher, or similar role in recruitment.

• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and social media

recruiting.

• Familiarity with recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, ATS, etc.).

• Excellent communication and networking skills.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a recruitment/staffing agency environment.

• Understanding of different industries and job functions.

• Ability to handle multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
