About the Role

We're offering a rare opportunity to accelerate your career and make a real business impact from day one. Designed for high-potential, action-oriented graduates from top U.S. business schools, this role is built to develop the next generation of global HR leaders.

You'll begin your journey in Las Vegas, where over 12–24 months you'll step into a fast-paced environment, gaining hands-on experience across Talent Acquisition, Communications, Learning & Development, and People Operations. Through real responsibility, not just observation, you'll build the skills, judgment, and business acumen that set exceptional leaders apart.

Then, you'll take that foundation global.

You'll relocate to India to step into a meaningful HR leadership role, where you'll drive impact at scale, shaping talent strategy, influencing business decisions, and helping build a high-performing organization in one of our most dynamic markets.

Responsibilities

  • HR Business Partnership: Working closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals. This means assisting with the organizational design, performance management, and change management.

  • Strategic Talent Management: Designing and executing strategies for recruiting, developing and retaining talent.

  • HR Operations & Compliance: Overseeing core HR processes while ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Learning & Development: Creating and supporting training programs, leadership development initiatives, and continuous learning opportunities to grow employee skills and capabilities.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Fostering a positive workplace culture, addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and driving engagement initiatives to improve satisfaction and retention

  • Total Rewards: Support total rewards program, including compensation management, benefits administration, learning & development and payroll.

Key Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect HR initiatives to business goals and think long-term about workforce needs and organizational growth.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analyzing complex people-related issues, using data when possible and making sound, timely decisions.

  • Communication skills: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication, especially when handling sensitive topics or influencing leadership.

  • Leadership & influence: Lead initiatives, guide teams, and influence stakeholders without always having direct authority.

  • Business Acumen: Understanding how the company operates to make HR recommendations that drive results.

Experience

  • Recent MBA graduates, with internship experience in HR or related fields.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a startup-like environment, with a proactive mindset, strong initiative, taking ownership of HR process and driving results.

  • Passion for mobile gaming: genuine interest for mobile gaming and the gaming industry, with an understanding of gaming culture, trends, and technologies.

  • Preference for candidates who are willing to relocate to Bangalore and joining the Skillz team in the Bangalore Office.

  • Previous internship experience required.

  • 1-3 years of HR related work experience preferred.

  • GPA: 3.5 or above

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus + Equity:

Location: Onsite Las Vegas.

Travel Requirement: Less than 25%, international travel to Bangalore required.
