About the Job
International Procurement Specialist | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | Full-Time
A leading Saudi restaurant chain with an extensive branch network across the Kingdom, operating a diverse and high-volume supply chain that sources ingredients and products from markets worldwide. Company name shared after initial screening.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who has actually done international procurement — not managed local suppliers or processed purchase orders. You understand import regulations, you've negotiated with overseas vendors, you know your way around customs clearance and SFDA requirements for food products, and you can build supplier relationships from scratch or strengthen existing ones. If your experience is purely domestic, this role isn't the right fit.
Key Responsibilities
-
Source and manage suppliers across international markets, including Asia, Europe, and the Americas
-
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with overseas vendors
-
Oversee the full import cycle — from PO to customs clearance and final delivery
-
Ensure all imported food products meet SFDA and Saudi customs compliance requirements
-
Monitor global market trends and commodity pricing to optimize sourcing decisions
-
Build and maintain a reliable international supplier network
-
Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and operations teams to ensure supply continuity
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of hands-on international procurement experience — food, F&B, or FMCG preferred
-
Working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP) and international trade documentation
-
Experience with Saudi customs procedures and SFDA food import requirements
-
Strong negotiation skills in English — most vendor communication will be in English
-
Proven track record in managing multi-country supplier relationships
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
-
Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh
