Responsibilities

Oversee existing trade and customs program, including maintaining a comprehensive global trade compliance program, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations and customs laws

Manage Harmonized System (HS) classification, customs valuation, country of origin determination, and other import/export requirements for all products and components
-
Oversee duty and tariff management, including identifying opportunities for duty minimization programs (e.g., Free Trade Agreements, duty drawback, special customs regimes)

Collaborate closely with Supply Chain/Order Fulfillment, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure efficient and compliant cross-border movement of goods

Monitor and assess the impact of global trade policy changes, tariffs, and non-tariff barriers impacting supply chain and cost structure

Manage trade-related risk, including export controls compliance (in partnership with Legal).

Manage broker relationships

Manage, support and develop local government relationships

Lead and support trade and customs inquires and audits
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics/Supply Chain, International Trade or related field. May accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training

Advanced degree (JD strongly preferred)

10+ years of experience in trade compliance, supply chain management, or trade l aw within a global company
-
10+ years of people management experience, including global and virtual teams
-
U.S. Customs Broker License strongly preferred

Global/International experience strongly preferred

California Pay Range MIN $242,730.00 MIDPOINT $323,640.00 MAX $204,550.00
