GMB Profile Creation Specialist (Google Business Profile / Local SEO)

We are looking for a GMB Profile Creation Specialist with hands-on understanding of Google Business Profile (GBP) creation, verification, and management. The role involves setting up and maintaining single & multiple GMB profiles, ensuring compliance with Google guidelines, and improving local visibility.

Core Responsibilities (Common for All Levels):

• Create Google Business Profiles from scratch
• Add accurate business details (Name, Address, Phone, Website, Category)
• Handle profile verification (postcard / phone / email / video where applicable)
• Upload business photos, logos, cover images
• Ensure compliance with Google Business Profile guidelines
• Maintain proper documentation for all created profiles

Responsibilities by Experience Level1️ Fresher / Intern (Course-Completed)

Ideal for: Candidates who have completed a Digital Marketing / Local SEO / GMB-focused course

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating new GMB profiles under supervision
• Learn Google guidelines and verification processes
• Update basic information, photos, and business hours
• Monitor profile status and report issues
• Support senior team in bulk profile setup

Required Skills:

• Completed course in Digital Marketing / Local SEO / GMB
• Basic understanding of Google Maps & business listings
• Willingness to learn and follow SOPs
• Attention to detail

2️ Intermediate Level (1–2 Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently create & manage multiple GMB profiles
• Handle verification issues and follow-ups
• Optimize business categories, services, and descriptions
• Manage profile updates, posts, and Q&A
• Identify and fix common GMB issues (duplicate, pending, edits)

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in GMB profile creation & management
• Knowledge of Local SEO basics
• Understanding of Google Maps ranking factors
• Ability to manage multiple profiles simultaneously

3️ Expert Level (2+ Years Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle bulk GMB creation for multi-location businesses
• Resolve suspensions, reinstatements, and guideline violations
• Manage video verifications & complex cases
• Develop SOPs and train junior team members
• Improve local visibility, calls, and directions
• Coordinate with SEO & Ads teams for local growth

Required Skills:

• Advanced expertise in Google Business Profile policies
• Experience handling suspended / disabled listings
• Strong understanding of Local SEO strategy
• Ability to scale & manage large GMB accounts

Preferred Skills (All Levels):

• Knowledge of NAP consistency
• Experience with Local citations
• Basic SEO understanding
• Familiarity with review management
• Google Workspace knowledge
