Traversal is the AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for the enterprise—already trusted by some of the largest companies in the world to troubleshoot, remediate, and even prevent the most complex production incidents. As a Go-To-Market Engineer, you will help build and scale our AI-native revenue engine. This role is at the intersection of growth, automation, and engineering. You will design and ship AI-powered workflows that generate qualified pipeline, remove friction across the customer journey, and help our marketing team operate with leverage through automation.
You’ll play a key role in developing a centralized marketing AI agent trained on our content, messaging, product knowledge, and performance data — enabling rapid creation of ads, social content, blogs, and creative assets with consistency and quality.
This role sits within Marketing and partners closely with Sales, RevOps, and Engineering. The right candidate will combine systems thinking with hands-on execution and a bias toward shipping.
Build and ship AI-powered GTM workflows that generate qualified sales pipeline across outbound, inbound, and lifecycle channels
Design and maintain a centralized marketing AI agent trained on company content, competitive intel, messaging, and performance data to accelerate content creation and campaign execution
Own key GTM automation systems end-to-end, including prospecting workflows, enrichment, lead routing, scoring, and reporting
Partner with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering to identify friction in the customer journey and implement scalable solutions
Design, test, and iterate on growth experiments, creating measurable feedback loops to improve conversion and pipeline efficiency
Establish documentation, governance, and quality standards for AI and automation across the GTM organization
5+ years of experience in GTM systems, growth engineering, revenue operations, marketing automation, or a related technical role within B2B SaaS
Strong hands-on experience building automation using APIs, webhooks, LLMs, and modern GTM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Outreach, data enrichment platforms)
Comfort working with technical systems including JSON payloads, APIs, and basic SQL for validation or analysis
Proven ability to translate ambiguous GTM challenges into shipped, measurable improvements
Experience building AI-powered workflows, agents, or automation systems that drive business impact
Strong systems thinking and the ability to design scalable, repeatable infrastructure
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially when partnering with internal engineering teams
Experience building or deploying AI agents in production environments
Familiarity with observability, developer tools, or technical B2B audiences
Experience training LLM workflows on internal knowledge bases or structured datasets
Experience supporting enterprise sales motions
Prior experience as a Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer or Account Executive
Prior experience operating in a high-growth, early-stage startup environment
We offer competitive compensation, startup equity, health insurance, and additional benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time, in-person role in New York is $180,000 - $250,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are based on location, level, and role. Individual compensation is determined by experience, skills, and job-related knowledge.
