Role Description

We are seeking a Gold Card Electrician for a full-time role based from our offices in Rochester. The role involves performing electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for both commercial and domestic clients. Responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, diagnosing electrical issues, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver reliable and efficient electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete installations accurately
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
• Document work performed and report any faults or safety concerns promptly

Skills & Qualifications

• Holds a valid Gold Card qualification as an Electrician
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles
• Proficiency in Electrical Work, including installations, upgrades, and compliance testing
• Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electrical systems and components
• Skilled in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical electrical issues
• Excellent understanding of industry safety standards and regulations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Relevant certifications such as NICEIC accreditation are a plus
• Full UK Driving License
