About the Role:
Jack Lewis Jewelers is one of the finest jewelry stores in the entire Midwest, and we are
seeking a highly skilled Goldsmith to join our team. Our brand new, 10,000 square foot
freestanding location is waiting for you!
We pride ourselves on fine craftsmanship and exceptional service. We are looking for a
dedicated professional who is a master of their craft, capable of handling everything
from high-volume routine repairs to intricate custom creations.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Repairs: High-quality sizing, prong tipping, stone setting (prong, channel,
pavé, bezel), and chain soldering.
Custom Design: Lead the assembly and finishing of unique custom pieces,
ensuring the highest standards of beauty and durability.
Shop Management: Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe
workspace.
Quality Control: Review every piece leaving the bench to ensure it meets our
rigorous retail standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years goldsmith experience.
Proficiency in working with gold, platinum, and silver.
Experience with laser welding and/or CAD/CAM is a significant plus.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
