Golf Cart tech/ mechanic

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on electric and gas-powered golf carts, including mechanical, electrical, and suspension systems
  • Conduct brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension adjustments to ensure safety and optimal operation
  • Use hand tools, power tools, to assemble, repair, or modify vehicle components
  • Troubleshoot automotive issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes efficiently
  • Complete m Service Orders, repair reports, and safety documentation accurately and promptly
  • Assist with vehicle assembly or upgrades to enhance performance or customer specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, electrical wiring, and welding techniques
  • Experience with automotive repair tools such as hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting gear
  • Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures for electric and gas-powered carts or similar small vehicles
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly
  • Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members

Preferred qualifications include dealership experience, mechanic certifications related to automotive repair or welding skills. Knowledge of diagnostics software is a plus. Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
