Golf Clubhouse Bartender

SUMMARY
The Bartender delivers an elevated beverage and guest experience in a refined, golf clubhouse setting. This role is responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, serving premium beverages, and engaging with members and guests in a polished, professional manner. The Bartender maintains a clean, organized bar while creating a welcoming, sophisticated, and service-driven atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Promptly greet every guest with a warm, professional, and polished demeanor.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beverages to the highest quality and presentation standards.
  • Enforcing state and/or our alcohol guidelines.
  • Collect proper payment for each check.
  • Ensure that proper alcohol measurements are utilized in accordance with restaurant rules for mixing drinks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable about the Golf Clubhouse and Islands.
  • Able to workdays, evenings, holidays and weekends.
  • Thank the guests as they leave and invite them back.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works with a high sense of urgency always.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Previous bartending experience in a high-end restaurant, resort, or club setting preferred
  • Full-service bar experience required
  • Alcohol Safety Training/TIPS/or another accredited program

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Professional presence with a polished and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to provide discreet, attentive service to members and guests
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation

LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate either verbal in English or non-verbal methods.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and respond in writing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
